– Our Teachers –
At La Hacienda Spanish School we truly enjoy our work, and take great pride when our students share their Spanish success stories with us. Whether it's being able to haggle a lower price for an artisan craft, rattle off some Mexican slang to a friend, make it through a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, finally "get" the subjunctive verb tense, or simply know how to say, "Have a great day!" in Spanish to their homestay family, it's always exciting to see our students progress in their abilities while working with us.
We are always checking with our students to ensure that our teaching methods work with their learning styles. That's important because learning styles vary and teachers need to adapt in order for students to thrive. We also work closely with individuals who have special learning needs, ensuring their advancement in learning Spanish
It takes more than just growing up speaking a language in order to be able to teach it well. At La Hacienda Spanish School, each of our teachers brings a formal education in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, as well as many years of effectively teaching its structure and nuances.
